RedTrack Alternative for Pay-Per-Call: When You Need Profit in Slack, Not Another Tracker

Need click-ID attribution and call conversions sent back to Meta and Google? Stay on RedTrack (or ClickFlare). If you mainly check whether each ad account is profitable, ROI posts that P&L to Slack every 15–30 minutes, depending on setup: call payout minus Meta, Google, and TikTok spend minus fees. Founding price: $200, then $100/mo. It can run alongside RedTrack.

Key facts

  • RedTrack is an ad tracker. It ties Ringba and Retreaver calls to the click, syncs ad spend at ad level, and sends call conversions back to ad platforms through CAPI (as of 8 October 2026).
  • RedTrack syncs ad spend every 6 hours on Builder ($79/mo), every 60 minutes on Solo ($169/mo), and every 30 minutes on Team ($399/mo) and Enterprise ($999/mo). Faster sync is a paid add-on priced by monthly ad spend.
  • ROI is not a tracker. It is a read-only Slack P&L per ad account: call payout next to Meta, Google, and TikTok spend, every 15–30 minutes, depending on setup. It does not attribute calls to ads.
  • They answer different questions. Some shops need one, some need both.

The short answer

Pay-per-call buyers usually reach for RedTrack for one of two reasons. Either they want to know which ad, ad set, or keyword drove a call and teach Meta and Google to find more of those callers. Or they want to know whether the account is making money right now, without stitching Ads Manager and the call board together by hand.

RedTrack is built for the first job. The second is narrower: spend next to payout, minus fees, often enough to act on. That is what Easy Growth Ops ROI does, in Slack, with setup done for you. If the second job is all you use RedTrack for, ROI can replace it. If you need both, keep RedTrack and add the Slack P&L.

Who should stay on RedTrack

Be honest about what a tracker gives you. The ROI page itself says RedTrack is stronger at click-ID attribution and sending call conversions back to Meta and Google. Per RedTrack’s own pages (as of 8 October 2026), stay on it if you rely on any of these:

  • Calls tied to the click. Ringba and Retreaver are native integrations. They pass the call and its payout into RedTrack with the original click ID, and any platform that can fire a postback with the click ID also works (RedTrack call tracking).
  • Conversions back to the ad platforms. RedTrack sends call conversions to Meta, Google, and other platforms through its Conversions API integrations, so their bidding learns from callers instead of clicks.
  • Ad-level reporting. RedTrack pulls spend by API and matches it to tracking data at ad level, then rolls it up to ad set, campaign, and channel (RedTrack pricing).
  • Rules that act on campaigns. RedTrack lists Stop Rules that pause spend when thresholds are hit, plus Scale Rules and an Ads Manager edit mode as add-ons.
  • Traffic beyond Meta, Google, and TikTok. RedTrack lists ad-level spend sync for Snapchat, Pinterest, Taboola, Outbrain, RevContent, NewsBreak, and others. ROI reads Meta Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads only.

If you optimize at ad or keyword level, ROI will not replace any of that. It reports per ad account, not per campaign or ad.

Who needs something different: profit visibility vs attribution

Attribution answers “which ad drove this call?” Profit visibility answers “after spend and fees, is this account up or down today?” If you mostly ask the second question, many times a day, from a phone, a tracker can be more tool than the job needs: tracking links, postbacks, and a dashboard somebody has to open.

ROI starts from the other end. It reads spend from Meta Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads, reads call payout from one call platform (Ringba, CallGrid, TrackDrive, Retreaver, or Phonexa), and posts the result to Slack every 15–30 minutes, depending on setup. The formula is the one Easy Growth Ops publishes:

Net profit = call payout − Meta spend − Google spend − TikTok spend − call-platform fees.

“Call-platform fees” means the call platform’s own fees, such as Ringba’s or CallGrid’s. On Ringba, we set up ROI to treat either the Revenue or the Payout field as your call payout, whichever matches how you get paid. In the readout, ROAS is (revenue − spend) ÷ spend, so 0% means break-even on ad spend. CPC is cost per call, not cost per click, and CPA is cost per acquisition.

Slack message from ROI, 7:30 PM update, showing spend, call revenue, ROAS, profit, and CPA per ad account, then totals: Profit $1,172.51 on completed calls and Net Profit $1,582.01 including estimated revenue from 13 live calls. Account and bot names are replaced.
A Slack update from ROI: every ad account, then the totals. Profit counts completed calls only. Net Profit adds the estimated revenue from calls still in progress (13 here). Account and bot names replaced for publication.

“I can’t keep accounts open all day and sit there refreshing. … Google’s UI is late. The API is not.”

Using ROI and RedTrack together

Keep RedTrack, add the Slack P&L. ROI only reads: it takes spend from the ad platforms and payout from the call platform, and it never bids, pauses, or scales ads, so it leaves your campaigns and your tracking setup as they are. RedTrack keeps doing attribution and CAPI. ROI tells the team, in Slack, whether each ad account is profitable.

Expect small differences. RedTrack credits a call to the click and the ad. ROI reports per ad account and, for Meta and Ringba, lines both sides up in US Eastern time. If totals don’t match, check time zones and date windows before assuming either is wrong.

The ROI page’s one customer result: “LeadVIPS, a pay-per-call team buying on Meta and Google, went from 3 hours of daily reporting to zero.”

Other RedTrack alternatives pay-per-call buyers consider

ClickFlare

Another ad tracker. ClickFlare lists Ringba, Retreaver, and CallRail call attribution, ties calls to the ad, keyword, and campaign, and pushes call conversions back to Meta, Google, and TikTok via CAPI (as of 8 October 2026; ClickFlare CRM and call tracking integrations). Its pricing page lists automatic cost sync on every plan (ClickFlare pricing). If you want a tracker but a different one, this is the usual comparison.

DIY: Make or n8n, plus Sheets or Data Studio

You can build the spend-versus-payout join yourself with a workflow tool such as Make or n8n, write it to a sheet, and chart it in Google’s free Data Studio (the ROI page calls it Looker Studio). The tools are cheap. The cost is the build and whoever maintains it when an API changes. A dashboard also still has to be opened.

Your call platform’s own reports

Call platforms already report the call side. Ringba’s Summary report, for example, has Revenue, Payout, Profit, and Margin columns (as of 8 October 2026; Ringba Summary Report). Its documented columns don’t include ad spend, so you still have to join the call side with Ads Manager. Our Ringba + Facebook Ads profit report guide walks through that join step by step.

For the formulas, see the pay-per-call profit formula guide.

After 50 shops, new shops pay $150 a month. Billing is monthly and you can cancel any month. ROI has no free trial. See ROI pricing.

FAQ

  • Is there a RedTrack alternative built for pay-per-call?

If you need attribution, the alternatives are other trackers, such as ClickFlare. If you need profit visibility, ROI is built for pay-per-call: call payout from Ringba, CallGrid, TrackDrive, Retreaver, or Phonexa next to Meta, Google, and TikTok spend, in Slack every 15–30 minutes, depending on setup.

  • Do I need a tracker if I only want profit per ad account?

Not necessarily. Profit per ad account only needs spend, call payout, and fees for the same window. A tracker earns its keep when you need click-level attribution or conversions sent back to the ad platforms.

  • How often does RedTrack sync ad spend, and what does faster sync cost?

As of 8 October 2026: every 6 hours on Builder, every 60 minutes on Solo, and every 30 minutes on Team and Enterprise. Faster sync is a paid add-on priced by monthly ad spend; the 15-minute option starts at $1,990 a year for up to $150K of monthly spend.

  • Can I use ROI with RedTrack?

Yes. ROI is read-only and doesn’t replace attribution. RedTrack keeps tracking clicks and sending conversions back; ROI posts the per-account P&L to Slack.

  • What does RedTrack do better than ROI?

Click-ID attribution, sending call conversions back to Meta and Google through CAPI, ad-level reports, rules that act on campaigns, and support for many more ad platforms. ROI does none of those.

  • Is ROI cheaper than RedTrack?

Not on sticker price: RedTrack Builder is $79/mo (as of 8 October 2026) and ROI is $200 the first month, then $100 a month. But Builder syncs spend every 6 hours. ROI includes setup and a 15–30 minute refresh, depending on setup; matching that on RedTrack means a higher plan or a sync add-on. Compare the job, not the plan name.

  • Does ROI attribute calls to ads?

No. ROI reports per ad account. Click-ID attribution is not its job, and with read-only access it doesn’t send conversions back to ad platforms.

  • Which call platforms does ROI support?

One at a time: Ringba, CallGrid, TrackDrive, Retreaver, or Phonexa. None of them is the default.
